Founded in 1908 in Biel,
Switzerland to produce high quality watches for the American market,
the company merged with North America Watch Corporation of New York in
1970. In 1979, Concord introduced the world's slimmest watch at
just 2 mm thick. A year later, they married the sports watch
functionality with style and fashion to create an entire category of
watches: the sports elegance watch.
